The world premiere of the exciting, big-city Leigh Harline soundtrack from Pick Up On South Street, the legendary Samuel Fuller film starring Richard Widmark, Jean Peters and Thelma Ritter. Harline melds rhythmic hustle & bustle street theme with witty trombone line for small-time crook Widmark. Lionel Newman conducts. Classic stuff!

CD also contains the dark, dramatic score from Joseph M. Newman's mystery Dangerous Crossing starring Jeanne Crain and Michael Rennie. Lionel Newman conducts music by Alfred Newman and Sol Kaplan. Both scores produced by Nick Redman, presented as recorded in crisp mono from excellent condition 20th Century Fox master elements.
